Supporting students in reaching their educational goals through Financial & Prayer Support

LEAVING IT ALL TO FOLLOW A CALL
About Me

Zackory comes to us from Indiana and is the last student to join this years EnterMission cohort! Every year, EnterMission serves as youth workers at the School of Missions at Lake James Christian Camp. It just so happens that this camp takes place just two weeks before the start of EnterMission! However there have now been three students who heard about EnterMission and at the very last moment decide to drop everything and join us! This past year it was Zackory!

Everyone has a story, and Zackory's story is a mixture of challenge, sorrow, resilience and faith. In our group he has provided a listening ear, a willingness to serve as one of our driver's on our road trips and a real desire to know Jesus. One of his unique gifts is his ability to write and communicate effectively in this way. While he will only be with us for this semester, he has been an valuable team member and friend.

We are thankful to all of Zackory's friends, his church family and others who are stepping up with their prayer and financial support to make his mission's journey possible.

It’s only Sunday, and this is been one of the hardest weeks mentally and physically to date. I am trying my best to be the calmest I can, all while putting my trust and faith into God. - We are now at Bloc ministries after spending Friday and Saturday at Ball State CCH, This evening we were sharing about EnterMission at First Christian Church in Springfield OH.
Hardships aside, I wrote this poem and I’d like to share it with you all.
I dedicate this to my to my earthly Dad, the fathers who filled his place, and my Heavenly Father above.
“Dear Dad, thank you for giving me life
Thank you for doing your best
Thank you for showing me God
I wish you knew how much I miss you..
Dear Father, thank you for teaching me how to plunge a toilet
thank you for taking me under your wing
thank you for showing me Christ in everything you do
I wish you knew how much you changed me..
Dear Father, thank you for letting me drive your car
thank you for giving me late night espresso shots
thank you for expressing your love for God
I wish you loved yourself just as much as you love others..
Dear Father, thank you for making me in your image
thank you for giving me free will
thank you for giving me breath
I’m glad you are with me always.”

This very short list only can show a part of my gratitude to all the people who stepped up in my life, although I only thanked 4 I am very incredibly grateful for everyone male or female who has been a role model and an influence in my life.
God Bless

September 5th
These last few weeks, if I honestly look back and ask myself “What would I change?” My answer would be absolutely nothing. I’ve been loving every little (and big) moment EnterMission has brought me. In saying that though, I’ve been flying completely blind. I have had to rely on the eyes of Christ. While I am being His hands and His feet, He has had my heart and my sight. I’ve been relying on God, and He has provided.
To shed a little light on my life before EnterMission, I was approached by Matt Love and Chris Irwin. They were both expressing their interest in me joining this 10 month experience. While hesitant and a little anxious, I let God and I let go. I prayed and asked for guidance, provisions, peace, patience, and so much more. Not a day later I had overwhelming positivity and happiness directed towards joining this 10 month experience. I believe God said yes to me. But in God saying yes and me telling Chris yes after an interview, I got flooded with emotions. I kept asking myself “what about my family?” And “How will I possibly pay for this?”. By the time I joined EnterMission, I was supposed to have $4,000 raised (I had none of that) but God and Chris both told me it was okay.

Looking in present time, I am so incredibly thankful for the roughly $4,300 raised in just 15 short days. God is so incredibly good. He has provided, just as He said He would. For those who have supported I will be sending out a real thank-you letter soon, but that has proven to be difficult with time constraints serving Him here in Oklahoma. For now though although I know it is not enough. Thank you. Thank you for everyone’s support ranging from mental support all the way to monetary support. I greatly appreciate every last one who has supported me in this new journey over the last month, I could not have done it without you and God. God bless.

If you haven’t supported or if you want to help, prayer and word of mouth is my biggest supporter, anything you can provide helps. In complete open honesty, I’m still in need of a little under $8,000 to pay for this 10 month missions experience. Thank you all for everything you do. Last but not least, thank you God.
