A Gap Year and a Changed Life
Who
we
are
EnterMission is a gap year experience designed to help students pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus and while exploring both domestic and international missions experiences as they discover their purpose in life.
WHat
we
do
EnterMission invites students to join our learning community as we travel, engage in relational discipleship, study the word, work alongside domestic and international missions, and deepen our communal and individual relationships with Jesus.
How
We
Do IT
Phase 1 - Community and Concept Building
During our first phase, students come together at Johnson University in Knoxville, TN. Here, students share common experiences, set rhythms of communal life, study the life of Jesus, and learn to implement core concepts that will carry on throughout the year.
Phase 2 - U.S. Tour and Experience
During our second phase, students travel the U.S. (and occasionally across boarders) to connect with and experience life at ministries across the country. We visit a variety of ministries which tend to include, but are not limited to: inner-city, children's homes and orphanages, Native American reservations, and working at ICOM.
Phase 3 - International Ministry Experience
During the third phase, students pack up and travel to an international destination where they will live and work with with a local ministry for the duration of the program. Each team is led into the field by the coaches who walked alongside them during phases one and two. At this point, students are challenged to incarnate the values, skillsets, and experiences they've cultivated throughout the year.

One Semester
Includes Phases 1 & 2
cost - $8,000
For those who cannot commit to a full year of the program, Entermission offers a one semester option that allows students to participate in the formative first phase and experiential second phase, and are welcome at our graduation ceremony at the end of the year.
TWO Semesters
Includes Phases 1, 2, & 3
cost - $12,000
This is the full (and recommended) Entermission experience. The two semester option features all three phases and allows students formation and experience, but also the ability to begin to live out their life change in a full time ministry environment during
our international portion.

EnterMission applicants must be:

Between the ages of 17-23

A Highschool graduate or equivalent

A Follower of Jesus
*We would advise applicants to consider that we are a faith-based program. Alongside incredible opportunities to travel, learn, and be in community, we also put a heavy emphasis on personal development and discipleship. You will absolutely have fun with us, but you will also be challenged to deepen your faith!

In terms of payment, we strongly encourage students to step out in faith and raise the funds. We understand this can seem like a daunting task, but we've seen God be faithful time and time again! formation
Education is often about passing on information, Entermission takes students on a guided learning experience intended for transformation.
Storytelling
Healing happens in safe spaces, and we offer students a space to experience their story in a way that highlights the work of their God in their past, how to see Him in the present, and to live 3rd testament lives in the future.
Accredidation
While some students foster connection with ministries we visit, graduates of our program have the opportunity to turn in a portfolio of their time with us to earn a semesters worth of college credit should they desire to furhter their education.
discipleship
We surround students with coaches to help them navigate their season with us, while also pairing them with a mentor who will give them a safe space to proccess and pay attention to the areas of life in which God is seeking to meet them.
