About Me

80

Luke comes from a ministry family in Lexington, Kentucky and served with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) for three years before coming to EnterMission as an apprentice.  When Luke walks into the room he brings joy with him.  He always has a smile on his face, and it's contagious.  He reflects the heart of God in the way that he loves people.  His heart to serve and go above and beyond comes from the security he's found in knowing Jesus.  His personality is full of excitement and his brain is full of fun facts about pretty much anything!

This year he continues in his apprentice role and plans on relocating to Knoxville at the end of the year as he transitions to working full-time with EnterMission.

He has a real desire to speak into the lives of other young people and lead them on overseas mission experiences.

We are thankful to all of Alex's friends, his church family and others who are stepping up with their prayer and financial support to make his mission's journey possible.  â€‹

Under the Bridge is a ministry whose mission is to serve the homeless people through providing clothes, food and drink, and other services such as bike repair, dental, and medical.  We work with this ministry every Wednesday evening.

Something  I noticed with Under the Bridge ministry is that people there have stories, and a good portion of them want to share their stories.  They want people to see them and to be seen by others.

Stories are how we connect.  When you hear the stories of the people around you, then you can become more deeply connected with them.  I feel honored to have the opportunity to hear their stories.  I’m grateful that I was able to pray for the people who shared their stories right with them in their mess.

I would encourage you to seek someone out and to hear their story and pray with them.  Even when it’s a mess, being there matters.
